We LOVE training for events. It helps to keep us motivated and on track and will give you a purpose to your mid week training. The best part of our events training program is being able to share the experience with the crew. So join our Saturday run club + run with us! Our Events Training Programs are a complete programs that include the perfect balance between strength and conditioning. We don't just focus on your running performance, we believe that in order to be a complete runner you need to have strong legs, core and upper body AND a strong mind. It's also important that you have the right nutrition. This means we focus on all aspects to make you ready and give you the best chance of succeeding and staying injury free.
BEGINNERS TO ADVANCED
If you are scared of running your first event, or aren't sure where to begin - don't worry (be happy)! We have a great introductory program for beginners and those new to running. We also cater for advanced runners who have a lot of running experience and want to improve on running strength and speed. We split the running group into beginners, intermediate and advanced so you'll be with some running your pack.
BRONTE BIATHLON *1 NOVEMBER 2017 - 28 FEBRUARY 2018
Bronte Biathlon season is here! Come join us every Wednesday night over Summer from1 November 2017 - 28 February 2018 (except for a short break over Xmas) and be part of a fun community Biathlon. Either book in for a season pass (all you can eat Biathlons!) or a drop-in session.
Course: Run 2km to Clovelly Beach, swim approximately 400m and then run 2km back to base at Bronte Beach. Map details below.
Bronte Biathlon is open to all levels.
- General starters: Start time - 6.15pm
- Elite starters: Start time - 6.20pm
Where: Meet at the grassed area next to Bronte Surf Life Saving Club (North End)
When: Wednesday Night @ 6.00pm for a 6.15/6.20pm start
SWIM CLUB 16 SEPTEMBER - 25 NOVEMBER
Come join us at Saturday Swim Club and train for the iconic event Bondi to Bronte Ocean Swim or just take the time to focus on your technique. B2B have two swim options available 800m (within Bronte Bay) and the 2.5km Bondi to Bronte so everyone can be a part of the big day.
Swim Club is open to all levels.
- Beginners: Lane 1. Stroke correction
- Intermidiate: Lane 2 (Swimming fitness and drills. Distance p/s 1.8km -2.25km)
- Advanced: Lane 3 (Swimming fitness and drills. Distance p/s 2km -3km)
- Includes: 1-2 Sunday ocean swims p/month at Bondi beach to practice ocean swimming

ESC City to Surf Run Club training starts in May 2018. If you only do one event all year - make it the City to Surf. It is an amazing event to be a part of and our City to Surf training program is the best in the world.
We train along the course and make sure you are fully prepared for the race. Our beginner program is focused on helping you to build confidence as a runner and be able to finish the City to Surf feeling good. Our intermediate and advanced programs are focused on helping you to become a faster, stronger and more confident runner and to help you finish the City to Surf in your goal time.
